Karen Caverly-Molineaux is a history PhD student at Liberty University who is in the dissertation research phase of her degree. Her work entitled Sister Exhibitor: Reconceptualizing Place and Space of Oregon Women Theater Owners in the Silent Era examines the complexities and intersectional dynamics of women’s work in the space of silent era movie theaters. She is a member of the Western Association of Women Historians and has presented her work at conferences in 2024 and 2025. Her work here on the films of Lois Weber was done as part of her internship with Silent Movie Day in Summer 2025.
