SCREENING: The Doll (1919), New London
SEPTEMBER 25, 2021 @ 5:30pm (Central) The Doll features Ossi Oswalda. The dollmaker models a life sized doll on his daughter. A young man hiding at a monastery will inherit his uncle’s money if he gets married. Will the dollmaker’s technological wonders save the young man from interacting with a real human woman? Or is there another masquerade occurring ¬¬in this theatrical and funny farce? Genre: comedy, romance, fantasy.

Kyle Ollah will be playing 🎶 to the first silent blockbuster 📽️ "Mickey" (1918) starring Mabel Normand.
Kyle Ollah is a multi-faceted string player equally versed as a solo artist as he is as a music collaborator. His fingerstyle guitar work and folk fiddling have become well-lit fixtures in clubs and dance halls across the upper-midwest.
Mabel Normand stars and produces "Mickey" (1918). Mickey, an orphan raised by her dad’s miner business partner, is spunky and uncultured. Will Mickey find true love and fortune in the big city. Or become Cinderella to her greedy relatives? Genre: comedy, drama, adventure, romance
