San Francisco Film Preserve offers Silent Movie Day theaters FREE access to their new restoration of GARDEN OF EDEN!!

 Silent Movie Day is proud to announce a partnership in 2025 with San Francisco Film Preserve – now offering cinemas worldwide free access to their collection of restored silent films for screening on Silent Movie Day, including their brand new 4K restoration of THE GARDEN OF EDEN (1928).

This new restoration of Lewis Milestone’s fabulous 1928 feature The Garden of Eden stars Corinne Griffith, Louise Dresser, and Maude George as the formidable Madame Bauer. The Garden of Eden features striking sets by William Cameron Menzies (Rebecca, Rosita), whirling cinematography by John Arnold (The Wind, Show People), and a cracking script by frequent Lubitsch collaborator Hanns Kräly (Forbidden Paradise).
